A wife, mother & grandmother, Sylvia converted to Catholicism in the mid-60's & became involved in the Charismatic Renewal, where she served in several areas of ministry. She is a long term Diocesan rep. to the provincial body of C.C.R.S.O.; Secy/Treasurer for Catholic Charismatic Services of Hamilton; a leader in the Community of Light Prayer Group; served as Master of Ceremonies at 2 Crusades; a Speaker in 1999 at the Western Provincial Conf. in Penticton, B.C.; & Speaker at the August 2001 Crusade in Hamilton.

A retired educator and permanent Deacon in the Diocese of Thunder Bay, Armand is trained in the field of counselling and spiritual direction; and is currently involved in parish missions, retreats and healing services. As well, he is a regular guest speaker on the "Food For Life" television program.
